Sunday April 2 was the Sunday championship game between the Shottas and the Hoop Breakers. Two unlikely teams that were able to beat out some of the best competition to get in. The Shottas started off hot in this chippy game with a big first half from Andrew and Marquis, each scoring 10 points. The Hoop Breakers had an answer with Raul having a big first half and keeping it close as well. In the second half, finals MVP Jayden decided to take over the game and scored 22 out of his 27 points in the second half. With emotions running high, the Shottas and their usually potent offense were unable to hit shots at the end, and a key injury to Andrew affected their inside offense. The Hoop Breakers were able to get their win back from last season as they lost in the championship game, and won without one of their top players today. Congratulations to the Hoop Breakers for winning the championship!

27 pts, 2 reb, 1 ast, 2 stl.
